Issue

In FME 2026.2, if the NoFeaturesTester custom transformer has been previously installed on a prior version of FME, the custom transformer definition needs to be deleted prior to the new shipped NoFeaturesTester transformer to be available.

Workaround

To add the new NoFeaturesTester transformer to a workspace, open FME Workbench 2026.2. In the Transformer Gallery (View > Windows > Transformer Gallery). In the search bar, type NoFeaturesTester. Right-click on the NoFeaturesTester and select Delete Definition.

After deleting the definition, click the Refresh button in the Transformer Gallery. The new NoFeaturesTester can now be added using Quick Add or the Transformer Gallery.

If you are using multiple versions of FME, once the transformer definition has been deleted in 2026.2 to use the shipped version, older versions will not be able to access the custom transformer through the Quick Add dialog, only the Transformer Gallery.
