FME Version

Symptom

I receive the following error when trying to truncate a geodatabase table (SDE on Oracle):
An error occured while trying to truncate table/feature class `table. The error number from ArcObjects is: '-2147216072'. The error message from ArcObjects is: {Underlying DBMS error[ORA-29859: error occurred in the execution of ODCIINDEXTRUNCATE routine ORA-03291: Invalid truncate option - missing STORAGE keyword ORA-06512: at "SDE.ST_DOMAIN_METHODS", line 1681 ]}. The error will be ignored

Cause

This is likely an issue caused by missing spatial reference information on the table.

Resolution

Load the table again with a spatial reference (or add one to the table). Subsequent truncates should work.
