Why is my FME Server Automations writer not working on my distributed install?
 

Answer

If your FME Server Automations writer is not working on an FME Server install with a distributed engine try checking if your ports are open. The automation writer will send messages to the FME core over port 7071 so please ensure that port 7071 is open on the core machine.
