URLs Used by FME and Safe Software

Introduction

If you work in an environment with limited access to the internet and need to request access to specific URLs via a proxy, see the following list for URLs to whitelist. This list of URLs has been built with the help of our community. 

The first half of this list is Safe Software-owned websites, official social media accounts, and websites where we host official Safe Software content. 

Please be vigilant when entering information into forms or downloading content when navigating to a website via a search engine, as there are phishing scams out there pretending to be Safe Software. When in doubt, refer to the list of websites below or navigate directly to www.safe.com.

The second list only includes URLs that are used by FME Workbench, FME Flow (formerly FME Server), FME Flow Hosted (formerly FME Cloud), standard readers and writers, and FME transformers. There are a multitude of web services that can be connected to using Web Connections and the HTTPCaller that will not be included here. 

If you encounter any other URLs that are not included in this list, please comment below, and we will add them. 

Beside a URL (where applicable):
* forward-slash indicates the URL may continue to access specific resources within that domain 
* * Port 443 indicates the connection is via SSL, and only the root URL can be known
