New in FME 2020!
What's happening
The coordinate system transformation to move between the Dutch local coordinate system Amersfoort RD & NAP and ETRS89 is being updated to RDNAPTRANS2018. This transformation has been released by the Dutch Geodetic infrastructure allowing us to integrate it with FME.
What this means for our users
In FME, when moving data between ETRS89 and Amersfoort RD & NAP the transition will be using RDNAPTRANS2018.
What we have done
-
In the CsMapReprojector in FME:
-
‘RDNAPTRANS2018_Amersfoort-RD-2008_to_ETRS89’ is an NTv2 grid transformation that can be used for horizontal transformations between Amersfoort RD and ETRS89
-
nlgeo2018.gdc is a geoid height grid to allow transformation between NAP Height and ETRS89 Ellipsoidal Height. This file is located in (FME_INSTALL_DIR)\Reproject\GridData\Netherlands.
-
-
A custom transformer, RdNapTrans2018, is available for download from the FME Hub and captures both horizontal and vertical transformations.
